Postcards from Byron

Take a moment to just marvel in the beauty that is Byron Bay.

I stopped by Byron for (literally) a couple of days at the end of June, tagging it onto a work trip to Brisbane. Byron Bay is still in the state of New South Wales, but right on the border of Queenlsand — it’s a short flight north of Sydney along the east coast of Australia. Being by the water every day, morning and evening, was a balm to the soul, especially during this period of time, one of mental lows, and I’m so grateful that I invested time to travel and briefly reset in this beautiful beach town.

Catching the sunset is a local ritual

Right after sunset — you can see the transition of the sky from above (golden hour) to here (blue hour, although it’s vivid oranges here).

Views like these remind me of how insignificant I am in the midst of it all
